Hello Friends! Thank you for visiting with me. A little info about my life here...my son Eric is 15 and is in the jr.ROTC and is active in Boy Scouting. My daughter Emily is 12 and is a football cheerleader. The kids were born on the same day ~ June 24th, which is awesome in my book! I love my LORD, flowers, animals, chocolate and I LOVE AMERICA! We have 1 dog ~ Ruff, 2 cats ~ Lilly & Daisy, 2 turtles, 1 hamster and 2 bearded dragon lizards ~ Thor (Turkeyhead) and our newest member ~ Pee Wee. My husband Craig of 16 yrs is a quality control specialist and I work with the NC dept of corrections as a correctional officer ~ 15 yrs! I believe life is short and that you should not wait to tell the ones you love that you love'em! God Bless You and Peace To All!

School Begins

Eric starts as a sophmore/10th grade....and Emily starts 7th grade!!! I know I am more nervous than they....but I am so excited. At least after tonight's clothes and supply shopping, I feel they are ready to start a new year. God Bless My babies!!!

Hi Paula! Doing pretty well, in El Paso woring this week. HOT here still. Dallas cooled off to the mid 80's which is nice.

Hey there,thanks so much for leaving me that message.I so appreciate it.You would think that working in Sameday Surgery I wouldn't be so afraid,but when the shoe is on the other foot it does matter,lol.Thanks for sharing your experience as No one can tell you how it feels like someone who has been there.My blood pressure went up and my heart rate was 102...lol....yeah,I was a chicken for sure.They did use some pain meds to help the pain since it was a bit different than what I was initially told,but that doc was great! He never let the pain get so bad I couldn't handle it,but he didn't let me pass out and not know if he hit that nerve and done damage,so in my book....he is good! I have to do everything hard and sure enough even the IV had to been tried twice in order to get a good vein that wouldn't roll.Now I sport a big bruise,but I am thankful that she was able to get it...woohoo...on the second try.Ok,enough blabbing hun...again thanks so much and GBU!!!!! Hi Paula,
I have an appointment on the 25th to get my shoulder checked out. I tried to play a little basketball with my son yesterday and I couldn't even shoot the ball!!!! Man this sucks!!!!!! I hope and pray it's nothing serious enough to have to have surgery. How have you been? How's work going?
